RICHARD ALISOUN KEVIN
In 2004, I left Oxford to teach the Classics and Law at Kamuzu Academy, an independent boarding school in Kasungu district, Malawi. I also have ongoing research interests at Kungoni Centre of Culture and Art. The first year I was here I visited Mua Mission – and it has been a real pleasure to get to know the Mua Deaf School over the years. I facilitate the dialogue between Mua Deaf School and the Friends, and ensure that donations reach their intended recipients.

I am a hearing person who began learning sign language in 2005 – the same year I paid my first visit to Mua Deaf School. Now I take an annual holiday from my job within the Department for Work and Pensions to travel to Malawi where I help teach the children on a voluntary basis. I have known Richard since 1997 and work alongside him to help the children. I give my time freely so there are no charity administration costs.

I am the chairman of BK Group of Companies – security businesses based in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. I founded the business in 1994. Since 2013 the business has been making regular donations to Mua School. We intend to help the school for as long as necessary. I contribute my organisational skills so that all the money raised by our team  helps the children of Mua Deaf School.
TIINA JULIA TRIIN
Following a career in HR, I am now a board member of the Estonian company BK Eesti AS. During a holiday in Malawi in 2012 I was shocked to see how little these deaf children have... yet they are so happy! I am dedicated to helping the school look after the children and teach them skills that give them a chance to make their own way in life. I give my organisational skills freely so there are no charity administration costs. I am a copywriter and my company is Word-Magnetism. I helped write this website and promote the Mua Deaf School via the written word. I give my time freely so there are no administration costs.
I am a recent Economics graduate and have helped the Mua Deaf School by constructing the current website and keeping the Facebook page updated. I give my time freely so there are no administration costs.
